The Entity

This game is incomplete and i don't know if ill get time to finish it as i am very busy. It is also linked to a google drive because i do not know how to use Buttlr to get larger files onto itch.

Please play, i know people don't like going to google drive to download things but it would be nice to still get people actually playing. 

You can check the upload date on google drive if you want to make sure it was uploaded before the deadline.

This game requires a mic.

Use your voice to control your character.

say "Walk" to walk

say "Run" to run, you must be walking before you can run

say "Jump" to jump over objects

say "Awake" to try and wake your character. this must be done once times at each of the 5 lamps found around the map. 

use the mouse to look around and direct yourself. 

on finding and telling the player to wake up at all 5 lamps, you will wake up from the coma and win the battle against the entity. Currently you can cheese the game by just telling the player to wake 5 times at the same time, the intended game is meant to find all 5, i just couldn't fix the issue of it registering all attempts regardless of if it had already been activated.

The Entity is a short survival horror experience, based on the theme "Death is and opportunity" You play the game by controlling your character via your voice, you are their inner voice telling them to keep going and keep pushing to make it out of the coma that they are in. The entity, is the devil on their shoulder, the creature telling them to give up, and it uses the allure of a new beginning as an excuse for the main character to give in to the coma. If the player dies, the entity claims they can begin a newer and better life.

I only got to work on this for about 1.5 of the days, i also worked on this solo, its missing a lot of what i intended on having in the final game just because i didn't have time at all. the theme whilst there, is not massively prevalent because i didn't get enough time to build it in better, as with most things in the game. depending on what stage of my build i upload, there may be more content. I also plan to continue work on this in the future.
